GSP Drive Rehabilitation Project for Greenville-Spartanburg International
Airport - Bidding 3/4/2010 @ 2 PM
Project Base Bid will generally consist of pavement rehabilitation of asphalt
access roads & new road construction at Greenville-Spartanburg International
Airport
Project Will Be Constructed with a a combination
of limited pavement reconstruction, mill / overlay & simple overlay. Related
work includes pavement demolition, pavement milling, curb & gutter
replacement, signage & miscellaneous incidentals necessary for construction,
traffic control in accordance with the established phasing, excavation &
embankment, construction of concrete curb & gutter, sidewalk &
cross-walk pavement, surface treatment, limited drainage system improvements,
placement of pavement markings & signage & various erosion control
measures.
A Bid Alternate No. 1 Will Include the use of warm mix asphalt
(WMA) in lieu of SCDOT Type B surface course, as well as the use of fiber
reinforced asphalt membrane interlayer for crack relief in lieu of single
surface treatment.
Airfield Pavement Rehabilitation for Anderson Regional Airport - Bidding 3/12/2010 @ 2 PM
Reconstruction of approximately 19,400 square yards of aircraft parking apron
pavement with portland cement concrete pavement, reconstruction of approximately
16,000 square yards of taxiway pavement with a reclaimed base & asphalt
surface. The work will include related work items consisting of pavement
demolition, milling, approximately 3,750 square yards of bituminous overlays for
grade tie-ins, construction of aggregate base course, cement treated base
course, reclaimed base course, pavement marking, shoulder grading &
grassing, adjustment of taxiway edge lights, approximately 7,500 square yards of
pavement rejuvenation & limited erosion control measures.
Site Preparation for Taxiway "B" Extension, SC Technology & Aviation Center
- Bidding 3/16/2010 @ 11 AM
Includes mobilization, pipe for storm drains & culverts, manholes, catch
basins, inlets, inspection holes, concrete culverts, headwalls & drainage
structures, chain link fence, silt fence, excavation & embankment, erosion
control, riprap, pavement removal, crushed ABC, hot mix asphalt surface course,
seeding, mulching, topsoil, related electrical & lighting.
